Working together with First Nations, Métis and Inuit (FNMI) communities, Elders, parents, teachers and other education stakeholders throughout the province to learn from each other to best meet the needs of FNMI learners is imperative.

The outcomes expected for Goal Three of Alberta Education business plan are that First Nations, Métis and Inuit (FNMI) students are engaged in learning and that the achievement gap between FNMI and non-FNMI students is eliminated.
