Hello everyone,

Added some lessons on Trigonometry to the M30-3 page.  Once that is done just one more chapter to go on measuring devices.  Anyone have any good activities using different measuring devices or on accuracy and precision?  I think I'm definitely going tohave to try out Vicky Wisheau's suggestion of bringing nerf guns to discuss accuracy and precision!

If you have a weigh scale that you can adjust the starting point, that is an easy way to explain the difference between precision and accuracy.

Adjust the scale to start at 5lbs instead of at 0.  Each time the same student hops on the scale it will give you the same measurement (precision) but then you ask the students is it accurate?
