We did Chapter 8, 2 and then 3. Students seemed to grasp the "real-world" applications of chapter 8 pretty naturally. The reasoning skills demanded by chapter 2 (completing proofs) required a lot of coaching-- these are difficult skills for adults! The students also struggled with explaining a proof (chapter 3) but through repetition, repetition, repetition, they got there.
