As I am going through the course I am starting to make a formula sheet. What formulas are you allowing the students to have.

We have moved away from creating formula sheets for students. Instead we are using the technique outlined by Damian Cooper and having students prepare a one page containing whatever they think will be useful for their exam. This gives everyone the same opportunity but allows individualization. The process of preparing the one pager is very similar to studying and this learning is increased (and that is what it is all about!)

This is really interesting. Now that you have had experience with this. Are the students marks better? the same?

I would like to try this.

Do you do this for every test or just for the final exam?

Would you do you this in Math 30-2?
