I was wondering if anyone else had a hard time teaching the Permutations and Combinations unit since there are many different situations and the indicators were vague.

I would love to have a 30 minute brainstorm session with teachers in Alberta to see what they thought of the unit.  Anyone interested?  I could set up an Illuminate Session at a convenient time for people interested.

I have not taught that unit yet so I would live to hear everyone's feedback :)

I would be more than happy to walk people through the lesson Jacqueline and I pit together for the smartboard based on James Tanton's work. I've even prettied up the file better than the originalshe submitted.

Ok so my next question is when?  Do we do this on a weekend or a day after school at 4pm or an evening at 7pm  I know that I will not get everyone but I will go with the majority.

I'm interested in this, for sure. I haven't taught it yet either and would love some guidance! I would prefer right after school. Chantel
