Hello Teachers
I have posted my lesson for Lesson 1 in Sinusoidal Functions. I know that the curriculum states:
Graphing calculators will model sinusoidal regression in the form y = a • sin(bx + c) + d, where x is measured in radians. This means that students will need to be familiar with radians as an additional unit of angle measure. However, it is not the intent to teach conversions from one unit to another.
But my notes include the actually conversions.
Does anyone have a discovery based activity that will fit the curriculum a bit more closely, showing the estimate and relationship between the two measurements instead of the actual conversion.
