Exponential Functions

My class are starting exponential functions this week.  Anyone have any neat ideas for discovery based learning for this unit?

This semester I am actually giving one exam for both Exponential and Logarithmic Functions. My summative assessments for each unit are typically an assignment and an exam.  But since I have two units in one exam, I thought it would be good to try a Performance Task.  AAC has one for Exponential Functions called Facebook Users. Click here for more information. (Also posted on the main page).

Have a great week.  And looking forward to some ideas on how to make this unit more fun.

Thank you to Bill Crittenden for sharing a Classroom Starter Idea for Exponential Functions, now found in the Discovery Based Learning Section in the first lesson.

Any other ideas out there.  I love the sharing.
