The new curriculum places an emphasis on the seven mathematical processes.  I am working on building some pages that illustrate how to teach these processes.  You can find them on the Math 10-C Home Page under "Teaching the New Curriculum".

Take a look at Connections [CN].  Tell me what you think about trying to connect numerical multiplication to polynomial multiplication with an Area Model.
