Thank you to Corinna Wynia for sharing some resources on Irrational Numbers from her district.  I've added them as a Zip file to the 10-C site in a folder called Shared Resources from Colleagues under the Exponents and Radicals section.

I especially like Activity 3 of the Learning Plan that focuses on writing entire radicals as equivalent expressions by using factor pairs.  Then from the list of equivalent expressions you can identify any mixed radicals.
