  Welcome to the Math 30-1 Demonstration Course

  for the 2012-2013 school year

  This learning opportunity has been provided by a grant from the Central Alberta Regional Consortium

  This moodle site provides high school math teachers with an opportunity to interact with other teachers across the province.  We will be sharing lessons, activities, instructional strategies and assessment tools and engaging in discussion pertaining to the new math 30-1 course.

  Welcome to our Demonstration Course

  We are Shari Jensen (sjensen@rdpsd.ab.ca) and Ronni Dixie (rdixie@rdpsd.ab.ca) from Hunting Hills High School in Red Deer

  Please feel free to enter the discussion forums to ask questions or give suggestions that you may have regarding our content.

  We hope that you receive some benefit from the site and can utilize some of the resources posted to implement the new curriculum.

  At any location in the site where the material reference a text page it will relate directly to the approved resource, Pre-Calculus 12, published by McGraw-Hill Ryerson.  This site is accessible to all High School Math teachers in the Province of Alberta.

  All of our lessons are created in Smart Notes.  We will attach a copy of the lesson in pdf format for those of you who don't have Smart Notes.
