Things have been busy ... My resource (Math at Work 12 by McGraw) did Polygons in a way that I am not fond of.  I have had to borrow from many other resources and put things together.  I've finally uploaded some materials on Triangles and Quadrilaterals.

For this unit I took an investigation approach where students measured and recognized patterns.  We then recorded our observations on a wonderful Quadrilaterals Chart . 

I also really enjoyed Quadrilateral Riddles.  Students enjoyed this competitive game and got some good practice recognizing properties of the shapes.

I'm trying a Polygon Rummy game that I modified from a resource that Vicky Wisheau shared with us at EPS.  We'll see how that goes today!
