Hello everyone,

I'd like to highlight a few ideas for teaching set theory.

First, thank you to Vicky Wisheu for putting together a Set Theory Matching Set to help students practice Set Notation.  This activity gets students Communicating and working together to match cards of Set Notation, Venn Diagrams and Word descriptions.  Make sure you see the recommendations at the end of the file for creating the matching cards.  Some good tips to save you time and hassle.

Secondly, there is an online Set Theory Virtual Manipulative that works really well for practicing set notation with three sets.  I'm still looking for a nice one that works with two sets.  Does anyone out there know of anything like this for two sets????

Thanks and hope everyone has a great day.

Colin
