In small groups, students create a digital magazine cover along with internal pages by using the tools, "Big Huge Labs" and Notebook software. Groups choose 1 of 3 Canadian communities featured in the Gr. 2 Social Studies' program, presenting their "magazines" to peers and the teacher. Step-by-step guidelines, a template, reference to specific learner outcomes, materials, resources, technologies and a rubric are all included.
