New Math Curriculum Opportunities through ADLC:

Math 10-3:

ADLC's Math 10-3 is broken down into 8 units and each unit is broken down into 3 lessons. Lessons start with a hands-on activity called "Let's get messy" followed by basic learning or a review of background needed for the lesson, called "How does it work?". After some practice in this section, the lesson goes into new learning in the "Digging Deeper" section along with more practice (see sample lessons below). The course also has a project embedded throughout using what the students are learning in a practical format. ADLC's Math 10-3 does not require a textbook.

Math 10C:

Math 10C is broken down into 7 modules and used alongside the McGraw-Hill Ryerson Mathematics 10 textbook. Lessons involve teaching followed by practice taken from the textbook. Practice is used as assessment for learning by the students and marked using a suggested marking scheme. Each module is concluded with an open-book quiz where students can get feedback from their teacher about their understanding of the material.
